Shadowboxes can easily be considered the most exciting framing done. Since the items being framed usually have great sentimental value the end result is often a treasure that will be cherished for generations. Keep in mind that with a shadowbox you are telling a story; so make the story as complete as possible. Bring as many items that you have and through the process of professional design and layout the story will unfold naturally. This doesn’t mean that everything you bring has to be used in the shadowbox but is best to have them available.

Part of our job it to help you find the right glazing to protect and beautify your artwork and cherished memories. We will work with you to create a presentation that complements your artwork without overpowering it. Glazing serves as a barrier between the artwork and outside elements such as dirt, moisture and curious observers. As with all aspects of frame design. Glazing should not interfere with but enhance the viewing of a work of art.

Glass products are available in three finish varieties: clear, non-glare and anti-reflective, and in two series: standard Premium and UV-blocking Conservation. Clear glass is still clear glass, but non-glare has a new look and name. Now known as “Reflection Control,” this glass is thinner, smoother and offers much less distortion than its predecessor. Both clear glass and Reflection Control are now available with a virtually invisible laminent that blocks 98% of ultraviolet light, which will keep any fading or the artwork to a minimum. Museum Glass is a wonderful new product that employs the anti-reflective properties. Virtually invisible Museum Glass offers the same UV protection for your artwork without affecting the visible light spectrum so your colors show true.

There's a glazing product to fill every framing need and work well within any lighting or viewing environment.

The usual time for completion of a framing project is 10 to 14 days. If a quicker time is needed and the shop schedule permits we will gladly readjust to accommodate your needs. This may restrict the design options to in store inventory, and will incur additional cost.
