My photography is inspired by nature and the time I spend outdoors. When you view my images you will notice that a large portion of my work are close-ups inspired by Georgia O’Keefe who has been a role model for me.  In nature I am never at a loss for subjects to observe and photograph.

As a child, I was rarely without a camera and took pictures of anything that caught my eye. Several years ago I began taking classes and became more serious about photography. Today, my camera travels with me everywhere.

Photography is a passion of mine and I would advise young artists to “always strive to find what fills your heart.”

I have been fortunate to extend my love of photography into my work life.  My husband, Jerry and I have owned Canyon Creek Art in Richardson, Texas for more than 17 years.
